AA Cooling has a fully mobile engineering team. We are based in the Midlands and provide cover across the UK and Ireland, even working in offshore locations such as Barcelona and Madrid.
We are members of REFCOM and all our engineers are City and Guild level 2 qualified, hold FGAS qualifications, carry Skillscards and are DBS checked.
AA Cooling was founded in 2008 by Rob Robotham. Rob has a well established and trusted reputation in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering spanning decades.
We have grown steadily and are approved suppliers to numerous County and City Councils in the Midlands region. We are also a trusted partner for a number of UK/Ireland retail and grocery chains.
We are proud to be an approved Mitsubishi Electric partner.
The Team
Rob Robotham, Managing Director
Rob formed AA Cooling in 2008 building on an established track record in refrigeration and air conditioning. He is proud of the continued growth of the business and has instilled a strong team ethic within the company. Rob is respected within the industry for finding innovative solutions for a wide range of refrigeration and air conditioning applications.
Scott Meakin, Senior Engineer
Scott joined the team in 2011 and has swiftly developed to become a competent engineer who can troubleshoot and resolve faults in some very challenging environments. He has an exceptional eye for detail. He is the most grounded of the team and well respected by clients and his colleagues.
Jack Grimmett, Engineer
Jack has recently completed his apprenticeship and has become an invaluable member of the team. At the end of last year Jack travelled the length and breadth of the UK to complete a pressing service schedule for a major UK supermarket.
Connor Read, Apprentice Engineer
Connor joined the team in 2017 as an apprentice and is working towards his Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Qualifications at Birmingham City College. Connor has already proven to a valuable asset to the company in the short space of time he has been with us.
Claire Robotham, Office Manager
An established Project Manager, Claire joined the team in 2017 to work on special projects, marketing and to provide the back office support for the team.
